2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process and fulfill your orders
- Communicate with you regarding orders, inquiries, and account activity
- Provide order status and shipment tracking
- Improve website functionality, checkout reliability, and overall user experience
- Monitor and troubleshoot site performance and errors

We do not sell or rent your personal information.
3. When We Share Your Information
We share your information only where it is needed to complete your order or operate our website. Specifically:
- Shipping carriers (such as FedEx, UPS, and USPS) receive your name, delivery address, and phone number or email address so they can deliver your order and contact you about delivery
- Manufacturers and suppliers receive your name, shipping address, phone number, and the items ordered so they can produce and ship your order directly to you, process returns, and handle warranty claims on products you purchased
- Payment processors (Authorize.net and PayPal) receive the payment and billing information needed to process your transaction. Digital wallet payments such as Google Pay are processed through Authorize.net; the wallet provider shares a payment token and billing address with us and is governed by its own privacy policy
- Service providers that host, secure, and analyze our website, as described in Sections 6 and 9
We do not provide your email address or phone number to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
4. Your Rights & Choices
You have rights over the personal data we hold about you. You may contact us at any time to:
- Access the personal data we have on file
- Correct or update inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal, tax, or accounting requirements)
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time
To exercise any of these rights, please reach out using the contact information in Section 13 below.
5. Data Retention
We keep your information only as long as we need it:
- Completed orders are retained for seven years to satisfy tax, accounting, and warranty obligations
- Incomplete or abandoned checkouts are retained for a limited period so we can assist you if you contact us, and are then removed
- Website analytics data is retained according to the settings of the analytics providers described in Section 7
- Security and abuse logs, including failed order lookups, are retained for a short period and then deleted
6. Data Security
We take meaningful precautions to protect your information, including:
- SSL/HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted through our site
- Card details entered directly with our payment processor, so full card numbers never reach our servers
- Restricted access to personal data — limited to authorized personnel only
- Rate limiting and bot protection on forms that could be used to look up customer information
- Servers and systems maintained in a secure, controlled environment
Despite these safeguards, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to exercise caution when sharing personal information online.
7. Orders, Payment & Order Status
When placing an order, you will be asked to provide personal and financial details necessary to complete your transaction. This information is used solely for billing, shipping, fraud prevention, and customer service purposes. If there is an issue processing your order, we may use this information to contact you.
Factory Interiors does not require you to create an account. To let you check on an order, we include a private link in your order confirmation and shipping emails. You can also look up an order using your order number together with the email address on the order. To protect customer information, we limit how many lookup attempts can be made and record failed attempts, including the IP address they came from, for abuse prevention.
8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to:
- Keep the items in your shopping cart and preserve site preferences
- Improve user experience and site navigation
- Recognize returning visitors
- Analyze browsing behavior to enhance site content and performance
- Measure the effectiveness of marketing and advertising
- Store advertising click identifiers and campaign parameters with your order to measure the performance of our advertising
Cookies do not inherently contain personally identifiable information, but they may be linked to identifiers such as your device or browser session. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings; however, doing so may limit certain features of our website, including checkout.
9. Analytics, Advertising & Security Tools
Our website uses third-party tools to help us understand visitor behavior, improve site performance, resolve checkout issues, and protect the site from abuse. These include:
- Cloudflare — content delivery, performance, and security. Cloudflare processes technical data including your IP address to protect our site from attacks and abuse
- Cloudflare Turnstile — used on our forms to distinguish human visitors from automated bots without requiring you to solve a puzzle. Your use of Turnstile is subject to the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum
- Google reCAPTCHA — used on our contact form to prevent automated abuse. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
- Google Analytics and Google Ads — website analytics and advertising measurement, including conversion tracking when an order is completed
- Meta Pixel — advertising measurement
- Stape — server-side tag management used to deliver data to the tools listed above
These tools may collect pages viewed, time on page, referral sources, navigation patterns, on-page interactions, device and browser information, approximate location, and technical error logs.
When you complete a purchase, limited order information may be shared with our advertising and analytics providers to measure the performance of our advertising. You can opt out of Google Analytics through the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and most browsers allow you to block third-party cookies used for advertising. We may also share a securely hashed (encrypted) version of your email address with advertising partners such as Google to show you relevant ads and to reach people with similar interests. To opt out, visit our contact page and we’ll remove you from these lists.
10. Children's Privacy
Our website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Policy Changes
We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
12. Accuracy & Website Content
We strive to keep all information on our website accurate and up to date. However, errors may occasionally occur — including in pricing or product availability. We reserve the right to correct such errors and to cancel or decline to fulfill orders placed based on inaccurate information.
